RestomCollector 4070 (ex PCE 4070) is recommended for the decoration and corrosion protection of car exhaust manifolds.
RestomCollector 4070 is applied with a brush on sandblasted (cast iron) or microblasted (aluminium) headers in 2 or 3 coats depending on the roughness of the support (the hold on tube tailpipes is not as long-lasting). For tailpipes without a collector (direct tubes), we cannot guarantee the hold on the first centimetres, just after the engine outlet.
A preparation by brushing is insufficient to ensure a good durability
The curing is obtained during the first motor start-ups. After curing, RestomCollector 4070 is not sensitive to oil or petrol.
Available colours: ALU-GREY. Not available in black because the black pigment reduces the heat resistance.
Packaging: 250 ml pack (suitable for approx. 1/2 m2 in 3 coats).
