SBF L-490 0.5 L - SILICONE BRAKE FLUID 500 ml.

REST010N

The use of DOT 5 Silicone in brake systems offers many advantages. The DOT 5 standard represents the best guarantee of safety in use. It is the most stringent standard for brake fluids and is also particularly suitable for competition vehicles. The standard classifies brake fluids according to their boiling resistance, incompressibility, etc.

A DOT 5 brake fluid is perfectly suitable to replace a DOT 4 or DOT 3 because the higher the number the better the performance.

CAUTION: Not all DOT 5 fluids are pure silicone. :

Restom Silicone Brake Fluid is guaranteed to be pure Silicone (purple in colour) in accordance with paragraph S 5-1-14 of Article 116 of Schedule IV of the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations.

Silicone DOT 5 brake fluid does not absorb moisture. Brake circuits are therefore protected from rust, which accumulates in the wheel cylinders and destroys the brake pads after a few brake applications.
Its use preserves your safety for many years.
The use of SBF L-490 costs less than the replacement of a single wheel cylinder, even on a popular car.
In addition, some old brake components are becoming very rare...
COUNTER TECHNIQUE, LEAKS, MANDATORY REPAIR

Product approved by the most renowned professional restorers, the greatest museums (Peugeot Sochaux, Prince Rainier Monaco, National de l'Automobile de Mulhouse...)

Other use : Perfectly adapted to hydraulic circuits (Citroën)

We recommend the systematic use of brake grease (Restom GAF 5040)
Supplied with detailed instructions (how to bleed the circuit, etc...) and adhesive label.
