Twingo 1 will go through four phases: Phase 1 from 1992 to 1998, phase 2 from 1998 to 2000, phase 3 from 2000 to 2004 and phase 4 from 2004 to 2012. Its 1.2-litre L4 petrol engine will be upgraded from 55 to 75 hp.
